Outreach Ministries
Betty Harrison-Smith, Team Leader

Opportunities to live into our baptismal vow of seeking and serving Christ in all persons
range from the direct action of traveling musicians and welcoming newcomers, to partnerships
with community-wide organizations, to individuals representing our parish in local groups such as
the Shasta County Interfaith Forum, and SEACM refugee and immigrant assistance program.

All Saints' Thrift Shop
3268 Bechelli Lane

Bob Wilson & Heidi Heiman, Ministry Heads

The All Saints' Thrift Shop is an outstanding outreach ministry, contributing upwards of $400-thousand of its proceeds to All Saints' ministries and Shasta County charities. For 25 years, this boutique enterprise has been selling gently used clothing, books, and household items at very modest prices, thanks to our generous donors. The Thrift Shop's faithful clientele is served by its faithful volunteers. New participants are welcome: as donors, as customers, or as scheduled or on-call volunteers.

Newcomers Ministry
Wendy Little, Ministry Head

Newcomers who fill out welcome cards get same-day contact from a volunteer, followed-up with a hand-written welcome note, and an invitation to an All Saints' quarterly welcome dinner. Opportunities to get involved include hosting a newcomers' dinner, cooking food for a dinner hosted by someone else, and/or making that all important first contact with a word of welcome.

Daughters of the King
Terri Bundy, Ministry Head

A worldwide women's organization, All Saints' DOK chapter reaches out to serve our neighbors by selecting a local family to support with Christmas food and gifts.

Saints Alive Ensemble
Ken Westrick, Ministry Head

A small, dedicated group of musicians who bring their musical gifts to enliven the music programs of nearby parishes. All musicians are invited to share their gifts as a blessing to our neighbors by joining in this ministry.

Food Basket
Ken Westrick, Ministry Head

Bring one non-perishable food item each week (or one case each month) to church on Sunday, and help support the food security program of Living Hope Compassion Ministries' Food Co-op, a vocational rehabilitation program which employs, equips, and empowers people to participate in the mainstream marketplace.

“I am but one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, I ought to do. What I ought to do, by the grace of God, I will do. Lord, what will you have me do?” (Motto of the Order of the Daughters of the King)

SEACM
Bill Rich, All Saints' Representative

SEACM assists refugees and immigrants from all over the world, providing a broad range of support services for documentation, navigation of the US health care system, and more.

Shasta County Interfaith Forum
Jan Logue, All Saints' Representative

SCIF is a gathering of leaders from many faith communities to exchange information, network, and support each other in building respect, understanding, and value for our community's diversity of spiritual practices and beliefs.

SCIF's public interfaith prayer gatherings are offered in times of crisis or thanksgiving. Read Jan Logue's 2019 Interfaith Thanksgiving remarks.
